Arrows of Silver

Avis found the armory. There was lots of weapon testing going on, so she joined in and picked up some ninja stars.

She began whipping them at the target, and they whistled through the air. They lodged themselves into target, but all five of them landed on the blue ring, which was actually quite off for a ninja.

She grunted, got the back from the target, and hung them back up. She could do better.

She began to search the walls again for weapons. She spotted some pretty, intense double swords and whipped them off their rack.

She picked them up, feeling good, and started practicing on a dummy. She spun around and
sliced the practice dummy a million times, but the swords just didn't feel right.

She sighed. "Oh well." They WERE pretty intimidating- nice to have around. They just weren't her thing.

Placing them on the rack, she began to start looking for another weapon to try.

She noticed a bow, with a quiver of arrows, that was a shiny black.

This was it. She knew it.

Avis picked it up, and walked over to the same target she had thrown the ninja stars at. She docked an arrow on the bow, pulled back, focused, and let go.

And hit the very center of the CENTER.

That could have been just luck. She thought.

She tried again, and hit the exact same spot, splitting the first arrow in half.

She grinned. Her weapon would be the black bow with the silver and black arrows.
